Since Dance Sensation opened its doors Shannon has been attending Ballet, Modern, Musical Theatre lessons and has just recently started Tap and Jazz lessons as well.  She has taken her Grade 1 Ballet and Grade 2 and 3 Modern exams in which she received high A and B results which we are really proud of.  We have seen Shannon's confidence and competence in all the different classes she attends grow and grow.  Marie really knows how to get the best out of her.  Since starting classes with Marie her confidence at School has really grown as well which is fantastic.  Every year Dance Sensation put a stage show on for all family and friends to see just how their children are progressing which is a fantastic confidence boost for the children, we all really look forward to next years show.

At the age of 12 Lucy decided that she wanted to start dancing lessons and having made enquires at other dance schools we were disappointed that she would either have to start in the 'Baby' classes with 3 and 4 year olds or join classes with much older girls who had been dancing for years.  What a relief it was to discover Marie at Dance Sensation who welcomed Lucy with enthusiasm and warmth in to a small beginners class of girls her own age.

Since that time, Lucy has made excellent progress, and most importantly, she loves her lessons and thinks the world of Marie.

As parents, we like the friendly atmosphere at Dance Sensation.  Marie's happy and caring nature obviously rubs off on the students!  Marie greets all the children cheerily as they arrive for class - they feel valued and welcome.  The parents are equally supportive of each other and there is always a friendly face to chat to whilst we wait outside the class.

Marie keeps us well informed of progress and will always see us after class to tell us if our children have done well or tried particularly hard.  We love being invited to sit in and watch the occasional lesson.

The annual dance show at Leighton Park Theatre was fantastic.  It gave Lucy an opportunity to be part of a real production on stage in front of an audience.  There was a real sense of team work amongst the girls, particularly as Marie encourages the older girls to be independant.  We felt very confident as we waved Lucy off at the door for the afternoon rehearsal!  Lucy loved every minute of the production from the rehearsals to the amazing costumes, from performing on stage to watching the professionally produced DVD recording of the show.

We are so pleased to be part of the Dance Sensation 'family' and hope to be for many years to come.
